The Future

What about the future

We are living in demanding times and for many of us the future seems further away than ever. Why it is seldom so that the things we are longing for are going to happen?

Whether it is about the job of our dreams, the ideal partner, a windfall or intense happiness. It looks like we only have disappointments in our lives.

Where is this about? Are we all born under an unlucky star? Or is it a little bit more complex?

Do we forget to enjoy the beautiful moments, because we are too much concerned with the future?

The essence of our existence goes back to our birth. The same moment when you are born and have your first breath, you are becoming YOU. You are who you are, your unique self, with your own talents and potential. You can find the in your birth chart.

This blueprint of energies, being expressed by the planets the moment you are born, build up the basis for your existence and express your potential. From that moment on all energies you will meet in your live have been fixed and will unfold with the cyclic process of the planetary constellation we are part of, exactly up to days and minutes.

Every time again you will meet energies in your live having meaning for you in relation to your birth horoscope. You will experience them the moment they occur. Let them interact with you, try to understand and feel the message embedded and make your choices based on it. The choices you make, and even “doing nothing” is a choice, you take with you as an inheritance to influence future choices. So life is about choices NOW. Just doing nothing and waiting for better times is no option. These will only arrive by your choices now and in this manner mankind creates its own miracles.

At the moment I am writing this article we have the energy of a configuration astrologers call a “GRAND CROSS” It is about Uranus in Aries, Jupiter in Cancer, Venus in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn. These planets all are in a cardinal sign and all elements (fire, water, air and earth) are represented. It represents a powerful aspect with possibility to change. However changes will be difficult as it is a cardinal “Grand Cross”.

Pluto and Uranus, being part of the “Grand Cross”, are since 2012 in a dance of 7 waning squares, the next one will occur on November 1^st this year.

This “grand Cross” has renewing (Uranus) and purifying (Pluto) energies, but also matters of power and impotence (also Pluto) play a role. Together with Venus (matter and relations) and Jupiter (religion and personal growth) there is a tendency for chance in many areas of life and in personal lives especially for people with a connection to this “Grand Cross” in their birth chart. Changes will not always take place smoothly. They only can take place when we understand the signs and succeed to disconnect our Ego system. Then the true spiritual inspiration from our souls can take the lead.

When I am writing this, I involuntary have to think about Coelho’s book “the crusade to Santiago”. I read it without stopping and understood the story is about awakening. On the path to Santiago the pilgrim somewhere comes at the place of the “Cruz de Ferro” a big iron cross on top of a mountain. At the foot of the cross there is a big pile of stones, left there by pilgrims who toke the stone at the start of their journey from home.

It is an archetypical picture of a place where heaven and earth meet each other and the “Grand Cross” of iron, carefully reminds us to the heavy moments in our lives.

Future

Pluto and Uranus dance further their dance of waning squares, every now and then forming a Grand Cross on heaven. As e.g. on November 1^st when the 4^th square is exact, coinciding with the eclipse of November 3^rd. It can lead to situations where people lose control of themselves and completely get lost. However it can also lead to situations where people discover the real spirit.

Some months later in the period between December 24^th and January 5^th 2014 another “Grand Cross” will appear, again with Pluto, Uranus and Jupiter, but now completed by Mars in Libra. With Mars connected the energy will be more explosive. So we should be careful and avoid dangerous situations.

Very special is that on December 31^st Sun and Mercury are in conjunct with Pluto and on January 1^st 2014 there is a New Moon connected as it is also conjunct to Pluto.

A very powerful constellation producing lots of energy and enabling big changes.

Many remarkable new events will take place and influence our lives.

We can prepared ourselves by getting inspired in the NOW be tolerant, and take our action in the interest of community.

Saturn and Pluto in mutual reception

Saturn and Pluto in mutual reception

On October 5th 2012 Saturn has entered the sign of Scorpio. As such this is not a very remarkable event, as it happens once in about 30 years.

However the remarkable side of this event is that at the same time Saturn and Pluto arrived in mutual reception. A mutual reception takes place when two planets are situated in each other’s sign and that phenomena is rather rare. The most important reason for this is Pluto, the planet needing 260 years to make its orbit around the sun. Since the beginning of our calendar, we “celebrate” the 9^th transit of Pluto through Capricorn. At the same time it is the 4^th occurrence of this mutual reception. It took place before in the years 541 and 542, 778 and 779, and from 1276 to 1278. This time the mutual reception will last up to December 23^rd 2014.

In a period of mutual reception it is assumed the planet energy works as if the planet is in its own sign, however in a more indirect way. In this case, very welcome because Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio are not the best positions. Pluto in Capricorn will help to reform systems, by power and does not naturally replace them by better ones and Saturn in Scorpio gives rigidity and gives restrictions to processes of transformation. And when necessary changes will be blocked the terms for power struggles and revolution are obvious.

When Pluto and Saturn interact in a positive way, as is the case with mutual reception we could say, there will be a balance in energy favoring changes to take place more or less obvious. As a result we could face new systems helping mankind to improve situations in society. Good news, especially in these days where we have many systems needing urgently to be improved or even replaced, as for instance the financial system, the European Union, democratic processes, and politicians having forgotten the real objective of systems as to serve community and not their own interests.

Also in our private lives we can favor from this mutual reception. Translate Saturn in discipline and structure and Pluto in inner purification and the possible profits become clear. Use this time to create more awareness because for everything that is in line with the world needs we will not be obliged to make changes and Pluto will not feel the need for revolution.

In addition I have performed a short research on historical facts in former periods of mutual reception between Saturn and Pluto.

The first time I found major events is in years 778 and 779 when Charlemagne was emperor in Europe. He founded major reformations as e.g. the introduction of court, military services, taxation, and deployment of territories. He created a long period of rather peacefulness and prosperity.

Between 1276 and 1278 king Alphons of Castalia and Leon brings together the Arab and Christian science in Spain and Marco Polo, doge of Venice traveled to China and brings back profitable trade possibilities and new knowledge and insights. These events are forming the basis for the Renaissance.

Normally transits from Pluto through Capricorn are recognized by great revolutions and war as e.g. after 1516 when Luther made his proclamations about the Catholic church in Wittenberg Germany, leading to long lasting religious war in Europe. In the following Pluto cycle we find the lack of reformation in especially France leading to the French revolution.

What can we expect in this period of mutual reception?

An astrological technique to make predictions is the hourly horoscope from the moment when the mutual reception was created, and this is exactly on the moment Saturn has entered Scorpio on October 5^th 2012 at 22:38 MET.

The energy patterns in this horoscope give indications where the emphasis will be in the following years.

There are many peculiarities in this hourly horoscope.

Where people care for each other and everybody contributes according his or her skills to our societal challenges. Where rights and obligations are in line and where the care for mother earth will help us to create a sustainable community enabling us to save current biodiversity.

Astrological influences July – September 2012

The energy of the waxing square between Uranus and Pluto, for the first time exact on June 24th will remain this whole summer (up to March 2015). As Neptune makes a square with the Lunar node axis, many karmic events may happen, like floods causing victims.

July

Be careful and well prepared on July 10^th and 11^th, around and in the water, when also Pluto and Saturn make an aspect with Neptune and the Lunar nodes.

On July 14^th Mercury turns retrograde (until August 7^th). You can expect delay when traveling and failures of all kinds of technical instruments. Take more time to travel in those cases where to arrive in time is crucial.

On July 17^th and 18^th Mars makes a T-square with Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter. It can lead to situations going out of control (e.g. with weather circumstances), but possibly everything will turn out to be okay finally.

The last week of July will be more quiet.

August

Around the 8th we will sense a change in energy. Things will go easier and the atmosphere will be more relaxed. It is a good time for activities with the family. There can be a tendency over over-generosity. Be careful in the goals you select, some of them are not what you expect them to be.

Around the middle of august work on structure and regulations will be beneficial.

You can meet people by pleasant surprise, sometimes even bringing love affairs.

Around the 23^rd we can have the feeling to be lost, it is a good time to get inspired by meditation.

Om August 31^st Mercury enters the sign Virgo. The atmosphere of communication will change clearly. It is a good time for activities requiring a sharp and thoughtful analysis. For instance contractual negotiations will be favored.

September

During the beginning of September however our mind is dominated by feelings. If possible wait until the middle of September in concluding contract, unless you are well aware of make decisions with your heart.

From September 6^th and on there will be more interest in luxury and excessiveness. The relative quiet period will finish as on the 19^th of September the second (of the series of 7) square between Uranus and Pluto will occur. This time on the 7^th degree of Capricorn (Pluto) and the 7^th degree of Aries (Uranus).

The energy will be clarifying. There is a chance new facts will reveal events from the past, initially surprising us, but later on contributing to the purification of society. In the astrological mandala the 7^th degree of Capricorn is indicated as the degree of spiritual purification. The 7^th degree of Aries aligns with this. It is the degree of duality between good and evil. Let Uranus inspire us to new initiatives leading us to a purified world and community.

The solar eclipse of May 21st 2012

On May 21^st we will experience a solar eclipse. Sun and Moon are in line and both on the 1^st degree of Gemini. The time of the eclipse is 01:48 MET.

Will everything related to this eclipse turn out to be positive?

No, certainly not. As is normally the case with eclipses, famous people will pass away unexpectedly. Nature (in this case Neptune) might be of help, especially because Neptune squares the lunar node axis, causing people to be drowned.

About the first degree of Gemini, the degree of the eclipse the astrological mandala gives us the following archetypical information.

This picture informs us about the fact, that many of the answers on information we are looking for, can be found deep in ourselves. The solar eclipse cuts us from the self, thus giving an excuse to neglect this self.

According to Rudhyar the archetypical presentation of the first degree of Gemini is: “A boat with a glass bottom floats above submarine miracles.

It gives the message of collective pictures escaping from the unconscious. The message is to communicate it in a way the world can learn from it.

The energy of the eclipse can help us in our meditations to take serious the pictures that rise from the unconscious and to use them for the future.

Neptune can help us to bring the inspiration and the waxing square between Uranus and Pluto can create the urgently needed changes to help us to realize our inspiration.

Astrological preview for November 2011

As already was the case during the month October, Pluto will continue the trine with Jupiter, enabling new initiatives to remove structural problems in our financial and other systems. Try to stimulate them, we need them and be prepared to leave dishonest systems, favoring a happy few at the cost of earth and mankind, radically behind. The conjunction between Mercury and Venus during the first half of November is becoming exact on November 2^nd, shortly after these planets entered Sagittarius. The challenge of this 1^st degree of Sagittarius is to discuss in a sphere where communication will be generally peaceful and full of mutual understanding, but focused on the revelation of the essentials.

The first 10 days of November will probably give fair weather. In general the sphere will be nice and warm. On November 9^th we can enjoy the fascinating view of the monthly repeating conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter in Taurus, depending on a cloudless sky. This will give whom are sensitive to this a warm earthly atmosphere. This changes on November 11^th when the planet Mars enters Virgo. On November 26^th when Venus enters Capricorn the weather will become substantial colder.

Mercury station experience

On December 30th (the day Mercury went station after a retrograde period) I experienced some remarkable adventures with the services of my local bank. In the morning shortly before 11.00 a.m. I left home to do some shopping for Sylvester Eve. As I almost did not have cash money and in one of the shops I planned to visit cash money is the only means to pay, I went to the nearest bank station to get some cash. When I expected to have finished the transaction and waited for my card to appear, somebody came to me with a paper where was written that the machine was not working and he told me not to put my card in, because it would not be returned. Soon it turned out the guy was right because my card did not appear and neither did the money I expected. So I had to face the problem to need cash money to do my shopping and not having a card to withdraw it, nor to be able to pay. I phoned my bank, the service number happened to be in my mobile phone and informed them about the incident. I had to face problems because the account might be blocked, neither could I perform payments using internet banking facilities. A new card would take a week as well as the service of the withdrawal automate where my card has disappeared. The solution was to go to one of the offices of the bank and get cash money at the desk. As the nearest office was closed that day I was advised to go to another office. When I arrived there and I had explained the problems the employee informed me she could not help me because their cash withdrawal automate was defect. I had to go to another office in another village. As it was short before closing time for lunch and I expected I might not reach that office in due time, I asked the employee to phone the other office and inform them about my problem and ask them not to close and wait for me. On my way to this office I came upon many obstacles in traffic and as a result I arrived 5 minutes late. Fortunately the office turned out to be still open, the girl in the office assisted me very friendly and I could leave the office with the required money to do the shopping. The hole adventure took about 2 hours.

Lessons learnt:

Trust in people and not in systems.

The employees of my bank are professionals and helpful.

Be aware of Mercury stations, it can take a lot of time to fulfill your planned assignments

This day Mercury station squared the midpoint Sun/Mercury in my birth chart. In this chart Mercury is dispositor of the 8^th house (banks and insurances, money from other persons). Station Mercury was in my 2^nd house indicating money and goods.

The solar eclipse of January 4th 2011

After entering the ecliptic season with the lunar eclipse of December 21^st, the next event will be the solar eclipse of January 4^th 2011 at 9:03 GMT on the 14^th degree of Capricorn. As, during a lunar eclipse, we get cut off from our emotional feed, a solar eclipse gives us the feeling of being cut off from ourselves and being reactive more emotionally. During my study astrology I came upon a remarkable fact that happened once in my life.

As a boy I was raised rather protected due to the fact that in my early life I escaped from death by accident a number of times. As our family lived on a boat by that time it was not obliged to attend school before the age of 6. So could it happen that on the day of my 6^th birthday my mother brought me to school and left me there to attend lessons. My mother went home again took the bus to our home and was very surprised to see me arriving home a couple of hours later. She immediately brought me back and warned me never to leave school again without permission. I still remember the incident, I did not like the surroundings of the school and decided to return home. Years later I discovered there had been a solar eclipse on that day. So it could happen I felt cut off (Sun was eclipsed) and decided to follow my emotional feelings and return to the mother (Moon).

Bernadette Brady has studied the phenomena of eclipses and published her ideas in her book “Predictive Astrology: the eagle and the lark”. She makes differences between the potential effect of eclipses and categorizes them into Saros series. The eclipse of January 4^th is categorized in Saros series 13 North. It bears energy for transformation of groups and activities for communities. It gives ambition for new initiatives needed to better prepare for the future. Where changes are opposed to, it can be necessary first to remove these obstacles. According to the astrological mandala of Dane Rudhyar the 14^th degree of Capricorn is represented by “An ancient bas-relief, carved in granite, remains a witness to a long forgotten culture”. The important issue here is to distinguish between real traditional values and simple beliefs added by individuals to settle their own power. It may be obvious the energy of this eclipse can benefit activities in line with the messages from the Saros series and the 14^th degree of Capricorn.
