Yogananda had the following idea about the law of Carma:

“Fate, karma, destination, call it as you like it, there is a Law of Justice, arranging in some way, but not accidentally our race, physical form and some aspects of our thoughts and feelings.

It is important to realize that we can’t escape from this basic pattern, but will be allowed to cooperate within this frame”.

And further:

“the more progression we see in the self-realization of mankind, the more mankind will influence the flow of the universe with its subtle vibrations and the less mankind will be a toy in the flow of events emanating from all this.

The law of clear intention is an important cosmic law related to this.

I believe most of the readers will know this law or have met its impact.

It appears very simple: When you perform things and duties for the best, you almost have fulfilled the objective. However, it might be more complicated as presumed in a quick look.

Does it go beyond the direct reality we observe?

We live in a big illusion. What this means can’t be easily understood by anybody.

This illusion is much bigger than we can see or have an idea about and why we descended to this incarnation.

This clear intention goes beyond the illusion, and to become more aware about this, is part of a conscious life.

Slowly and step by step discovering the path to walk, and getting a real view on the truth behind this illusion. When you consciously look for the path and walks it, your idea of the why of this life will change.

At that moment you will become aware that everything you did before in clear intention, you possibly might refuse to do later on. By being more consciously aware, also the way you look at your own contribution to the world will change.

This is the path to go, walk it in full consciousness and discover.

Understand that more insight will obligate you to use other measures for your own thoughts and acts.

With a number of planets reorienting the coming month on the manner they plan to influence us energetically; it might be a good time to think over your own issues.

Preview for the month August

The month of August hides a number of important astronomical events.

We have 2 Full Moons this month, Venus is still retrograde and also Mercury will turn retrograde on August 23^rd, this means we have 2 personal planets being retrograde and internally oriented.

The first Full Moon on August 1^st brings a warm and comfortable energy. We have possibilities for further development and personal growth.

On August 2^nd we can feel restricted by authorities in our lives.

About August 3rd we can have meaningful encounters.

About August 7^th there are possibilities, it is important not to exaggerate.

About August 9th we can meet financial good luck.

There may also be inspiration for special creative insights. The practical outcome however may some time to mature.

Om August 10^th we will have excellent possibilities for further developments and to get new insights.

On August 13^th there is an inner conjunction from Venus and the Sun. Sun, Venus and Earth are aligned at that moment. One of the points of the Venus pentagram will become actual.

This pentagram symbolizes the connection of elements (fire, earth, air and water) and their mutual influence on spirit (ether). See also the picture underneath.

A meditation can help you to connect to the cosmic message.

This inner conjunction takes places on the 21^st degree of Leo, the degree of unsatisfactory spiritual experience when the ego is too dominant in this process.

So, the message is to turn inside and not to exaggerate.

This could result in a healing experience.

The New Moon on August 16^th takes place close to the position of Venus and at the degree of full concentration. While Venus is still retrograde it can be a good possibility to try ot become part of the energy and to open up for messages from above. There will be good opportunities to put into practice pure inspiration.

Try to keep in touch with what can be supposed to be achieved. Ideals can become borderless and less fit to achieve.

On August 23^rd we are under the influence of Mercury. On one side the Sun enters Virgo, governed by Mercury at the other side Mercury turns retrograde.

Servitude is becoming more important. In addition, messages we have been waiting for since long can reach us.

The degree of obliged nobility can give these messages an important and striking message. Noblesse obliges.

Be aware that a retrograde Venus and Mercury can be of no help to bring insights in practices. This might be related to difficult communication.

About August 25th the energy is helpful to realize plans.

From August 27^th we will take our partners interest better into account.

Against the end of the month, we can have surprising and very innovative insights.

The moth ends with an energy of completion as we experience the 2^nd Full Moon in a month.

This takes places on the degree of regeneration. A different notion of reality can give surprising insights.

Astrology and astronomy in daily practice.

In August Venus will not be visible. Begin September Venus will return as a Morning star, especially for those who are early risers.

Mars will be in the Southwest at sunset. On August 16^th Mars will be close to the Moon.

Saturn and Jupiter will be visible from midnight until sunrise (in the south).

On the 10^th of July the Netherlands experienced a remarkable day.

Our prime-minister Mark Rutte, withdrew and announced to leave our nations politic.

This change already had its pre-warning in the month March, when the outcome of district elections left the Netherlands in a rather unmanageable state, leaving the country with many urgent problems to be solved.

In the horoscope of the Netherlands, we see an actual transit from Pluto (transformation) on the Moon (countries inhabitants).

This energy indicates a transformation of power, to be expected to take place rather in harmony and based on the cosmic principle of purification.

Pluto can indicate related conflicts of power.

Groups resisting against “needed” changes, will be forced to accept these changes. And be aware that what is “needed” will not be a directive from humanity, but for humanity.

At the moment we see many planets active in NL’s 10^th house (Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune).

Moreover, on July 10^th the northern lunar node and the Moon where in this 10^th house of destination.

It indicates there is a broad support for societal change and innovation. There will be chances for innovation guiding the way to a future based on a new society.

On November 22^nd we have new elections.

The Moon is again in the 10^th house of NL. The people will deal with the future of the country.

With Neptune actual (ideals) on the Sun of NL and Mercury (rational power) on NL’s Neptune ideals will play a guiding role.

Saturn actual (structure and regulations) will play an important role in establishing the new future.

Uranus actual gives indications for innovations being implemented in a rather harmonic manner.

On July 23rd Venus turned retrograde. I could feel it and by accident I saw a contribution from the philosophic quintet about the future of mankind related to the way we value economic interests above all others. A retrograde Venus revaluates this. Very impressive.

Cheiron

Recently I was attended to Chiron from different sides.

This took place on July 6^th. Cheiron made a square (90 degrees aspect) with Mercury (the cosmic messenger).

Special was that at one of the people incurred, Chiron made a transit on the AC, at the same time having Chiron on the IC of the birth chart.

In my personal birth chart Mercury made a trine with natal Mercury.

For me a message to pay attention to Cheiron and to write a contribution for the newsletter.

Chiron has been discovered by Charles Kowal. Chiron has an orbit between the planets Saturn and Uranus and has a cycle time of about 50,4 years around the sun.

In 1996 Chiron reached the point on his orbit closest to the sun.

Chiron was in the sign Libra.

About 2021 Chiron was at his apogee (in Aries).

Caused by the rather eccentric orbit the transit time of Chiron through the signs is rather varying from 2.5 years in Libra to 7 years in Aries.

In 2027 Chiron returns son the first degree of discovery (Taurus 4^th degree).

The place of Chiron in the birth chart gives indications for the wound the incarnated soul has caught in earlier lives.

Sasportas en Hall indicate that Chiron got his first wound by the denial by his mother and relates this to the separation when leaving the womb.

In this new live Chiron was confronted to his heroes. And especially one of these heroes Hercules was the one who caused his wound.

When working with karma, Chiron shows the wound of the soul and should be released from this pain. To release isn’t the whole solution, the soul has to make a conscious choice.

It should voluntarily release her grip on the world of the form and when necessary, choose to go through the dead of the old self, to allow something bigger to originate from it.

My other source drew my attention on Chiron and turned out to have Chiron on the same degree of the birth chart (Libra 2^nd degree).

The symbol of this degree:

“The transmutation of the fruits of past experiences into the seed realisation of the forever creative spirit”.

It recalls for us the picture that we are consciously using ancient truths to be helpful to use the wound to develop new insights as a contribution to the own process of healing.

The Owl

In preceding newsletters, I paid attention to the owl and its symbolic, especially because Eleonore (co-writer for some articles), received interesting messages related to this bird.

Beneath a picture of the card “the Owl” from the collection Medicine cards by Jamie Sams and David Carson. The cards represent animals as a symbol of healing power.

As Eleonore’s contribution to this newsletter couldn’t be delivered in time to be part of this issue< I got the idea to pay attention to the symbolic of the Owl in this issue.

Without being noticed, the owl revealed truth to her.

Saturn and Neptune

Saturn is already known by mankind since ancient times.

As the planet still visible with the bare eye and distant from earth, he had an important function.

Saturn imposed to us the understanding of limitation and of the need for structure.

Passing Saturn meant the end of the known world. Behind it was uncertainty, the basis for our belief systems. At the border we saw a divine authority, and this was supposed outside of mankind.

Since the end of the 18^th century this idea changed step by step in discovering the trans-Saturnale planets.

In 1789 first Uranus had been discovered.

Known borders were broken and new types of freedom came through.

In society we saw monarchs allowing their people more rights and freedom.

Monarchs not allowing this caused revolutions as we have seen in France.

The first free country for former slaves was established (Haiti) and the United States started a freedom was against their founding countries.

In 1846 on September 23^rd the planet Neptune had bene discovered.

Neptune was in Aquarius the same sign where Saturn was at that moment.

When 2 planets are together in the skies (we call this a conjunction) their energies try to cooperate. It also indicates the beginning of a new cycle. A cycle of Saturn and Neptune takes approx. 35 years.

By then Saturn made a complete tour through the ecliptic and Neptune has only passed 2 or 3 signs.

Such a cycle begins on a dedicated degree, containing a message for the complete cycle.

Saturn and Neptune are rather contradicted in their nature.

Saturn gives limitations and structures, Neptune in the contrary makes unbounded and makes a connection to the unknown possible.

In 1846 the conjunction had a message about a harmonic combination of making plans and realizing these. Both about, ideals, practical work, and social goals as well.

At the same time Neptune in Aquarius reminds us to noble goals and spiritual flexibility.

The combination proposed good perspectives and indeed they appeared as a result.

The Crim war ended in a peace treaty and the foundation of the rights for civilians and soldiers in periods of war were agreed. Also, the base principles for the Red Cross were founded.

At the moment we see both Neptune and Saturn in the sign Pisces (Neptune in the last decade, Saturn in the first decade). On February 20^th, 2026, we can expect the next conjunction. This will take place on the first degree od Aries 9also the first degree of our ecliptic.

It will take some years to arrive at this point, however it pr poses a nice symbolic to be prepared for.

The astrological mandala indicates the appearance of new forms of consciousness.

In this process both future and restrictive energies take part.

This comes to the foreground by Saturn energy (limitation and sense of reality, restricted views) and by Neptune energy (ideals and dreams). Unfortunately, we still have a mindset where dreams should be proven on forehand).

However, we should be aware that we need both energies in good interaction to design the future.

Preface

Every now and then during your life, you may ask yourself the question, which path to follow.

And then suddenly you understand the answer. Just in a book you received as a birthday present and where you read on a page the following text:

Sometimes a fighter of the light has the feeling to live 2 lives.

In one of them he is forced to do many things he doesn’t like to do,

and having to fight for ideals he is not believing in.

And at the same time, he discovers in his dreams a separate life

In books and also in reality, where he meets people with thoughts like his own.

The fighter makes both lives meeting each other and intertwine.

There appears a bridge between both lives,

A connection between what he does and what he likes to do.

Slowly his dreams become true in his daily existence

And at a certain moment he realizes to be ready for his deepest wishes

And then, he only needs a small portion of endeavor to live these both lives as a whole.

Preview for the month May

Until May 15^th Mercury is retrograde. We can experience many problems related to miscommunications, dates, electronical attributes etc.

Be aware of this, take enough time, and double check where possible.

Take good care for your safety, burglars have the retrograde Mercury as their patron saint.

The month begins with a strong purifying energy. We will be reminded of the contribution the community expects from us in the future. This is the time to become prepared.

The pigeon and the star sign Colomba Noae

On the Ace of cups from the Rider Waite Tarot and of Visconti’s Sforza in the 15th century the cup of the holy grail was pictured. This card shows, apart from the cup (connected with the heraldic symbol of eternal youth and pouring the elixir of life abundantly) a dove also being a special attribute of Visconti’s family and having the motto “A bon droyt”

A cup symbolizes the life of the owner. The cup you are yourself. In earlier centuries there was a tradition to give a newborn a silver cup (with name engraved). This cup symbolized the wish the life of the newborn to become as prosperous and unique as this silver cup. May your life be rich and superfluous of fortune.

Pigeon

My dove between the rocks, hidden in the mountsin range, show me your face, let me hear your voice. Your voice is so lovely and your face so charming.

The star sign Colomba Noae or Noe’s pigeon could be seen in April only partial southwest of Canis Major. The 2 most important stars are the alpha and beta stars Phact and Wezn. This 2 form the head of the pigeon and a number of stars to the left and right of Phact form the twig in his mouth, a reason to name this sign Noe’s pigeon.

Innocence, beauty, and simplicity are the legendary virtues of the tame and curious bird with soft feathers, elegant heads, and bright eyes. His joyful presence on pictures of births and marriages are well known, taking care for hope for the better.

Possibly we are already fascinated since centuries by this celestial being, being able to relate with us, and representing holy powers we feel related with.

Goddesses as Ishtar from Babylon and Atargatis from Phenicia and Aphrodite from Greek could incorporate as a pigeon.

Rome’s Goddess of love was as ‘Venus Columba’ or Venus the pigeon, a Messager of a peaceful dead whose catacombs and burial places were called Columbaria.

Pigeons are monogamistic by nature. A female dove can let her feed by her male as a dove chicken by putting her bill in his, like a kiss. Together they build a nest, brood, and feed the young chickens with crop milk produced by the layer of epithelia in their throat. The fertile dove was always associated with mysticism, erotic attraction and devotion, unifying things successfully.

 The descending of the Holy Ghost is symbolized by a dove. In the art of paint, we see we see the descending dove pictured above Maria, when Gabriel makes the renunciation, above Jesus when he is baptized in river Jordan and above the 12 disciples at the moments the Holy Ghost descends to earth.

In arts the dove is used where the Ghost of life should be revealed.

Why the pigeon? The dove has been considered since centuries as a messenger of the Gods.

There was also the sacrifice to God, as Josef and Maria did six weeks after Jesus’ birth.

In the story of Noe’s arch, it was the pigeon who brought the message of the new discover land, after Atlantis was sunken.

When the dove was set free, he was circling around for a while before choosing a direction. This is also what we know from postal dove’s behavior. Doves have an inherited feeling for direction. When dove’s circle around in formation, we can hear their wings en see the come down in an elegant way.

I heard many stories about dove’s appearing in their lives suddenly at special moments in their lives.

When my favorite aunt Flora died, form the moment of her passing away, until her burial ceremony, there was a pigeon sitting in our garden. Coming every day closer until we could almost touch her.

And I also believe that, at the moment of writing of this article, as by accident two turtledoves came sitting outside the window of my office.

In several fairy tales we see white doves, messengers of heaven, guiding people on their path of life.

Cinderella was helped by many white doves, to finally become bride of a prince, son of a King.

Also, in other fairy tales we see white doves appearing guiding the way to lost children to find back the way home.

Dove’s especially the very intelligent postal dove, where our city doves are related to, have special fly and navigating capabilities, feeding our projections as heavenly messengers.

In ancient cultures, the dove was the bird of Ishtar and of Venus, Goddess of love.

In an ancient saga, it is told Zeus is cared for by 2 doves. In other stories we know about pigeons feeding children in danger. Isn’t it remarkable that in the Phoenician language the same word is used for a dove and a priestess. This makes it difficult to really understand what might be meant.

Every time again we meet impressions of doves, being a celestial helper for mankind or a practical postal messenger.

Over 2.500 years ago doves brought the name of Olympic winners from Athens to other Greek states.

They also were used as messengers by air in Egypt and China and brought messages in situations of war. Postal doves saved many lives in WW I and II.

Apart from doves, birds in general are more than a human being connected with the sun by the transparency of their skull, allowing them to react immediately when the sun rises or sets.

In Persian language the word “Murgh” means both soul and bird. In Egyptian hieroglyphs the soul is represented as a bird, an ibis. The soul of a dead man can leave the body as a bird.

Rudolf Steiner once said: This bird is related to the hierarchies of the angels. We should learn to understand what comes to us from heavenly spheres. As priest in ancient times could distinguish from the birds, we could also learn to listen to the symbolic language of birds in our lives.

The message of the star sign Colomba Noae

The star Phact, represented by the dove with the twig, represents the need and force to explore new areas of life. Phact helps you to enter the path with courage and to overcome obstacles. When you are open to the unknown, it will welcome you and not act against you.

Sirius

In her contribution about Columba Noae, Eleonore already touched the star sign Canis Major.

In the middle of this sign, we can see the brightest star at the moment in heavens: Sirius.

We all may have seen him, Sirius, some time, but in most cases unaware. When you look at it the next time try to remember this star is very important for humanity.

Not only, the movement of our solar system is concentrated around this star, he is also known esoterically is one of the sources of the seven rays.

In our regions, Sirius is visible in autumn and in winter.

Sirius is currently at the 14^th degree of Cancer and also is not far from Orion.

Sirius mover slowly to the southwest (about 1 degree in 3000 years) and reaches in about 67.000 years the shortest distance to earth (at the moment about 7,6 lightyears).

After that, Sirius will go away and become more distance. The star is prominent in the ancient list of Ptolemeus. During the period of July 23^rd to August 24^th Sirius will be visible shortly before sunrise in the South of Europe. This rising in ancient Egyptian times was considered to be the beginning of the new year. During this rise of Sirius the future was read in the colors visible.

Old rituals refer to Sirius as the Sun behind the Sun. Sirius gives live to our sun and therefore to humanity. This warmth keeps us alive physically.

According to Dogon and Inca myths, mankind at first had a group soul. All animals on earth have one common soul, or a single soul for every community. This was also true for mankind. We lived together and carried out our tasks based on a collective soul.

Also, esoteric pioneers like Blavatsky and Baily refer to these insights and base further thoughts on them. Energy form Sirius has an important role in the building of the bridge between personality and soul and so on the process of becoming more conscious for mankind.

Astrology and astronomy in daily practice.

Venus already is some time visible as evening star. This will remain this and also the following month.

On May 23rd the Moon is close to Venus.

Mars will be in the Southwest at sunset. On May 24^th, Mars will be close to the Moon.

This implies Mars and Venus are close together. This is a special phenomenon; every time Mars has been retrograde Venus is making a sprint along heavens and tries to overtake Mars.

And finally, when they are close together, Venus slows down, as being disappointed by male behavior of Mars. After all a few months later Venus will be retrograde too.

This will also take place this year, as it takes place almost every second year. It gives a special energy, possibly felt by some of us and meant to support the evolution and understanding between man and women. It symbolizes wishes or desires felt to become distant.

Saturn and Jupiter are visible this month shortly before sunrise in the east.

On April 19^th I felt a special energy. Everywhere where I was, I met people reacting very friendly and openhearted. As such already a refreshing experience, in the evening things became even more beautiful. I attended a meditation course, dedicated to Krishnamurti and one of his special theme’s: concentration. It made me clear, all you feel and recognize is related to your own state of mind.

You are what you think to experience. At the introduction I was struck by the loving attitude of all participants, later on there was a very serene atmosphere.

It made clear to me, how an individual is much bigger than presumed by being a part of the galactic reality. When I looked up the actual positions of the planets, I found some relations between Venus and Uranus, explaining what had happened.

In an eclipse period usual many known persons leave the earth and go over to the other side.

This time it was remarkable that many people who passed away had reached a respectable age and were creative persons during life.

Think about Harry Belafonte, Mary Quant, Dame Edna, and local famous people as Paul van Vliet and Hub Oosterhuis.

A special property of the eclipse was a square with Pluto (relation to life and death) and a novile with Venus (harmonic relation to life and artistic talents.

The Greek predecessor of Mercury Hermes is also known as messenger of the Gods and guide to the other side.

The next day I got a call from a friend. She told me she had already for a couple of days an owl on a branch in her garden. This can have different meanings, like clairvoyant experiences, wisdom, and announcing of a journey to the other side. The same day her husband heard about the passing away of a dear friend (he took care for at “Tafeltje Dekje”, a Dutch program where elder people are helped with a warm meal.

In the Medicine cards we find the owl as picture 21.

The owl always is a messenger and says: Use tour intuition and take your dreams seriously.

He can also signify clairvoyant observations. When an owl appears, he recognizes the magic properties you possess and should use in the favor of white magic.

On April 21st Mercury turned retrograde. For me it happened in the 6^th house, the house of work and health and daily activities. It was a very quiet day.

I was reminded I had some backlog related to the family tree. I then decided to put some efforts in it.

I also had unexpected occasions meeting people I didn’t see for a long time. The same day it turned out our electric cooking apparatus was down.

In the neighborhood we also had to deal with burglars. These people seem to be protected by a retrograde Mercury.

On April 26^th I received a message the weekly meditation session where I participated in had been canceled, due to a breakdown of electricity.

At the moment I read the message also in my area the electricity broke down, the same happened with another person at another location.

The horoscope as guide

In my contributions in this newsletter, I regularly refer to the astrological mandala of the French musician, philosopher, and astrologer Dane Rudhyar.

The symbolism used appeals to me and helps me to explain energies in the process of becoming conscious

The moment we are born, we start a long discovery to become aware.

Our birth chart shows the energies we have received at birth and of the challenges and difficulties to be expected on the path of life.

During our life we are receiving cosmic energies, the energies of the seven rays and from cyclic process of planets around the sun having messages for us how to proceed. These energies are identical for mankind. The difference occurs when energies touch an individual and as a result lead to action from the individual.

Thus, we can predict developments in our journey of becoming conscious, as the sequence of energies and the exact moments they will occur.

Astrological techniques are an important help to understand what has happened and to become aware of other occasions. This helps us to understand the challenges we will meet and have to overcome.

In this article I will explain the possibilities the astrological mandala offers us to understand this.

The astrological mandala

In the astrological mandala, every degree of the zodiac is represented by an archetypal image (Sabian symbol).

These images were received by channeling by Elsie Wheeler about the beginning of the 20^th century and afterwards systematically recorded by Marc Edmund Jones. When Dane Rudhyar came in touch, he discovered that every symbol reveals a fundamental phase in human existence.

This resulted in the existence of 360 archetypical symbols, together showing a cyclic character. One symbol for every degree of the zodiac. Dane Rudhyar has recorded these symbols and their mutual relations in the book “the astrological mandala”, edited originally in 1973.

These 360 degrees are divided in two halve cycles, the process of individualization (from Aries 1 until Virgo 30) and the process of collective (from Libra 1 to Pisces 30).

Possibly you will notice that for every degree in the process of individualization is a polar degree in the process of collective.

As soon as we are born, we arrive in an environment enabling us to develop our potentials (individualization) and on the other side reminding us to the assignment to contribute to mankind as a whole (process of collective).

Within these 2 halve cycles, exists a further organization, it goes too far to explain this now.

Every degree is represented by an archetypal symbol together with keynote and explanation.

This gives direction and leaves room for further interpretation.

Sun, Moon, and all planets are on one of the degrees of the zodiac. Every degree represents a possible drive for a person.

Also, AC, MC, DC, and IC are on a degree represented by a symbol representing some direction of the person’s path.

The meaning of AC, MC, IC, and DC in the birth chart.

The degree of the rising sign indicates the way the unique self can be realized (the WHAT).

The degree of the DC indicates where this realization can lead to (WHERE TO).

The degree of the IC represents the role of the own social-cultural environment and how the challenges of the unique journey will be met (the HOW).

The degree of the MC indicates the ultimate meaning of this incarnation and what is expected to be the final result of the whole cycle of activity (the WHY).

These points indicate the assignment for life, where this can lead us, how this could be lived form the own social cultural environment and why this path should be followed.

Every planet has to contribute to the realization of the assignment according to the own character.

So represents the degree of the Sun an indication for the source of power of the individual.

Mercury gives an indication for the way to communicate and Mars about the way to act.

Also, outside the birth chart the mandala gives directions, for instance about important cosmic happenings and their possible influence on our society, for instance at the moment of an eclipse or the moment a planet turns retrograde.

Preview for the month March

The 2 most important changes in energy for 2023 will take place this month.

Among many in general friendly energies, first the planet Saturn and 2 weeks later also Pluto will change signs.

Saturn will enter Pisces on March 7^th at 2.35 pm and Pluto will change Capricorn for Aquarius on March 23^rd at 1.23 pm.

During the first few days of March, we will see friendly and creative energies. We could expect positive results out of it. They will help us in many ways on our path, our efforts will be rewarded.

On March 2^nd we will have a conjunction between Jupiter and Venus (on 13^th degree Aries) and on this same day also Mercury and Saturn will be conjunct (on 30^th degree of Aquarius).

The first gives risks of exaggerated and adolescent behavior, the latter brings opportunities for growth in connection with higher forms of existence.

The Full Moon on March 7^th on the 17^th degree of Virgo brings us opportunities to enlarge the societal cohesion.

We might need this in many manners, so take the chance where needed and possible.

Shortly after, we will experience the energy change of Saturn entering Pisces.

Saturn is well structured and Pisces not at all.

What could we do to balance these contradictory energies?

When we have managed this challenge, many possibilities will become our part to realize our objectives.

On March 15^th our productivity might be low. Don’t push too hard, take some time to reload and think about your beautiful ideas not yet realized. Passing some time in nature might also be a good idea.

From March 17^th energy is excellent to prepare for complex projects and also to start realizing them. Especially while new energetic impulses are on the threshold as the Sun will enter Aries on March 20^th. Work to be done.

The New Moon on March 21^st on Aries 1^st degree gives the picture for spring.

The astrological mandala gives the following symbol:

It symbolizes the emergence of new forms and of the potentiality of consciousness.

At any case Pluto in Aquarius expects us to become much more social and societal.

On March 25^th the planet Mars leaves Gemini and enters Cancer. Due to the retrograde motion in the last months of 2022, Mars resided in Gemini from August 2022.

It might have brought us in depth ideas to carry out in the future.

We will become more directed to our family and roots.

It also is an excellent period to create success in many options.

On the last day of March, we could have unexpected encounters.

Astrology and astronomy in daily practice.

This month the planet Mars will be visible high in the South at sunset.

On February 28^th and March 28^th Mars is to be found close to the Moon.

Saturnus will be too close to the Sun to be visible.

On January 31^st I saw unexpectedly a beautiful conjunction between Moon and Mars, they were straight above me. Unfortunately, they were too close together and Mars too faint to take a clear picture of it.

On February 6^th Turkey and Syria have been struck by powerful earthquakes. In most cases earthquakes occur together with eclipses, however this time there was no eclipse.

But when we see an eclipse as a special edition of a Full or New Moon it becomes clear. It all occurred shortly after the Full Moon high above us.

We already know the influence of the Moon on our tides especially at Full and New Moons.

At the same time this Full Moon made a square with Uranus, known for unexpected events.

The powers raised turns out to be also of influence at the incidence of earthquakes.

I found a number of publications where this has been researched.

On February 23^rd I was on holiday on one of the Dutch islands in the “Waddenzee”.

It was a rather cloudy period, however when I walked along the beach that day, I got the opportunity to make the picture underneath

We can see in one line from above downwards: the Moon (shortly after being New), Jupiter, Venus.

The light on the bottom is of Vlieland harbor.

When we drove home the next day, we saw a beautiful rainbow (picture underneath).

Both pictures were about the moment the Sun made a transit on the IC (indicating roots) of my birth chart.

The Lovers (tarot)

Starting from the point of view of our daily use of language for many of us an intriguing picture.

An indeed, it is, there is a whole world behind.

Each of us will have some pictural vision of it and without exaggeration they will show different views.

When I think about “the Lovers” in the first place I will think of the card from the Rider Waite tarot.

In February it happened to be my monthly card.

When I started to look very close to the picture, a number of details struck me, reminding me to esoteric pictures.

When reading the explanation in the book “the tarot as a key to insight” from Eleonore Oldenburger, many things became clear to me.

In the first place we see the Sun, with her omni-present rays; a representation of the cosmic 7 rays and in this case the second ray of Love and Wisdom.

Then also the angel, Rafael bringing a message full of cosmic wisdom to Adam and Eve in paradise.

In the tree behind Eve, we see 4 ripe pieces of fruits, representing the 4 elements (fire, air, earth, and water). We also see Eve looking up at the angel prepared to receive a message.

Behind Adam we see the tree of life, with 7 branches on one side and 5 branches on the other side, in total 12 branches.

These 12 represent the star signs, the 7 the sacred planets and the 5 the not-sacred planets.

All rays bring us the message of divine love and subsequently transferring it to our surroundings.

This is possible by filling your heart with love, causing your ego to stop playing a prominent role.

As soon as you permit the never ending unconditional and loving source of consciousness to enter you, you allow this source to manifest more often in your live.

Open up for it and become aware of its existence. To heal is to admit the divine and loving perfection already being part of us.

This card relates to the star sign Virgo, as well as the second ray.

The element related to this star sign is Earth. Alan Oken writes about this:

The focus to the earth of Pluto brings the chance to dig up the underworld, bringing up from the depth of materialism the essential qualities of love to mankind. Most of mankind still not being aware of this and the essential quality of love still being hided in the deepest darkness.

Saturn in Pisces

On March 7^th Saturn will enter Pisces.

In general, Saturn needs two and a half year to make a transit through a sign. We will experience this passage in most cases between 2 and 4 times in our lives.

Saturn is related to structure, limitation, order, and regulations.

Above recent picture illustrates this strict structure.

In Pisces, Saturn doesn’t feel comfortable. All Pisces born, intuitively swim in all directions, without any track of organisation.

There is plenty of fantasy without limitation. The Fish doesn’t like limitations.

The big challenge will be to use structure as a helpful means and not as an objective, when trying to control societal challenges or ideals that might be realized.

Our society is complicated, we cannot have solutions serving everybody.

At the same time, we have to live with a transit of Neptune in Pisces (I wrote about is in the last monthly letter). Also, Neptune will not be the factor taking care for the structure, in the contrary.

Neptune brings intuitive insight based on unpersonal ideals.

Consequently, we could expect everything needing structure to lose influence.

We might see this back in our society where problems become less controllable.

At the same time, it is an excellent period to use the infinite cosmic source with ideas for a better world and a society serving all of us.

When Saturn arrives in February 2026 in Aries there will be plenty of cooperative energy for improvements (Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Taurus, and Neptune in Aries).

A transit of Saturn through Pisces takes place once in every 30 years.

Former transits were 1994-1996 and 1964-1967.

In 1994 we saw Pluto in Scorpio, Neptune, and Uranus in Capricorn.

The Wall had recently been torn down, we saw borders disappearing (Neptune in Capricorn) and renewal of structures (Europe). Pluto in Scorpio took care for in depth transformation.

In 1964 Pluto and Uranus were in Virgo and Neptune in Scorpio.

It was the time of an in-depth innovation of education (Virgo) where ideals (Neptune) were established thoroughly (Scorpio).

Above analysis is in general applicable for society as a whole.

The influence on individuals or groups can be very different. For individuals this can be a rather embarrassing period, where we are limited without knowing why en what fore.

Individuals who have developed more consciously, have a little different perspective.

Saturn in Pisces can be very helpful to unveil illusions, limiting the further growth of consciousness.

This will bring opportunities to transform restrictions into challenges, at the same time being helpful in restructuring and making possible our ideals.

Generation patterns

Recently, one of the readers of this newsletter asked me to make and explain her annual horoscope.

In preparing this, I look at the most important energies and their actual time and date.

One specific question was about study and education for professional life.

I noticed the education was related to very young children from 0-4 years old.

These children were born in the corona era (the period we had to deal with the energies of the square between Uranus and Saturn). The assumed problems of the children were related to the ASS spectrum (autism). The square energy between Uranus (freedom) and Saturn (order and limitation) fits well to this.

From astrological practice it is known that we can recognize generations of mankind when trans-Saturnal planets change signs. Energies change remarkably and we recognize this in birth charts of people.

Thus, generations of people can be identified together having certain characteristics different from other groups.

Pluto takes in general 20 years to make a transit in a sign (in reality between 10 and 30 years due to the eccentric orbit of Pluto). The Pluto in Capricorn generation is from the era 2008-2024 (16 years), the Pluto in Sagittarius generation is from the era 1995 to 2008 (13 years) and the Pluto in Aquarius generation (era 2024-2044) will take 20 years).

Those born a Pluto in Sagittarius are also called Millenials. Their world was endless and on their fingertips. In addition to Pluto also Neptune and Uranus have influence. From 1995 they together are in Aquarius (unlimited freedom). Neptune until 2008, Uranus left Aquarius in 2003.

Millenials often are related to ADHD and autism related problems.

Not to be astonished about with this special and active placement of Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus.

Part of the newborn generation have millenials as their parents. So, we can assume these are “problems” inherited between generations.

When I finally looked at the birth chart of my client, I saw a conjunction between Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto. This is a helpful pattern to understand the problems and to help solving them.

An additional indication comes from the fact that this conjunction is part of a Yod (an astrological pattern with 2 in-conjunctions (150-degree aspect) to an apex planet (here Uranus and Saturn)), known as God’s indicator.

Sun in Cancer as one part of this, and close to Midheaven makes this feel as “to be called” to stimulate communication and contact between the children and parents. She also says: I am very glad to hear from the parents that the connection with their child becomes stronger and they understand the child better being aware of the “indicated” problem.

When we look at the degree of the MC (Midheaven: indication of potential and where all activities in this incarnation will be directed to), the astrological mandala about the 17^th degree of Cancer: the unfoldment of multilevel potentialities issuing from an original germ.

This indicates an underlying need for the person to realize the potentials given at birth.

So, the objective is GROWTH.

For me this proves the self-solving character of the universe in the meantime offering us problems to make us aware and conscious.

An allegory

This story is from the book “Occult tales” with contributions from Helena Blavatsky and WQ Judge.

It struck me, possibly our readers will also appreciate it.

When he was walking in the garden of his heart the disciple unexpectedly met his Master and was filled with gladness, for he had finished a task and hurried to put this at the Master’s feet.

“Look Master”, he said, this task is finished, allow me to teach other lessons.

The Master looked sorrowful but coolant, as one looks at a child that still is unable to fully understand.

“We have many people teaching intellectual ideas about truth” the Master answered. “Do you really expect to serve by sharing them”.

The disciple stood astonished. “Shouldn’t we shout the truth from the rooftops of our houses, until all the world has heard the message? he asked.

“And then …?”

“Then the whole world will accept the truth”.

“No”, answered the Master, “the truth isn’t something from the mind, but from the heart. Look!”.

The disciple looked and saw the truth as a bright white light spreading around the world.

Nothing of the light however reached the green living vegetation, needing the rays so urgently, as a thick foggy layer of clouds was in between.

“These clouds are the intellect of mankind”, the Master said, “Please look again”.

The disciple looked intensively and saw some vague openings in the layer, where the light made effort to penetrate through it.

Each opening was related to a small vortex of vibrations having an origin in the heart of a man.

“Only by adding more vortexes and by making them stronger the light might be able to reach the earth some time”, the Master said.

“You have to work at it secretly and also without expecting to be rewarded.

Both are needed, both is our task”. But there are so little vortexes! Are you strong enough to abstain from being honored and make yourself a heart center of pure and unpersonal power of love?

The month begins with innovative energies. Some of them we have waited for already too long and will pop-up unexpectedly.

A deep meditation at Full Moon on February 5^th might deepen your insights. The mandala refers to natural circumstances. Possibly, you may find your inspiration there.

Also, the following days may feed your inspiration. Ultimately your insight may be confirmed about where and how to act in your own process of purification.

On February 15^th we collectively might arrive upon a rosa cloud.

As a result, from inspiration from the heart and intense perception to go through as a result of pro-forma love a foretoken for disillusion.

The day behind will show us the real values in our lives. Experience it with an open eye, it might be helpful and guiding.

About February 18^th energies are friendly and filled with love. The Sun leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces. It can bring us surprising insights on matters of religion and of philosophy.

The New Moon on February 20^th on Pisces 2^nd degree may appear a dissonant energy amidst the further love filled energy of the month.

This degree is symbolized according to the astrological mandala by “a squirrel hiding from hunters”.

It symbolizes the need to protect oneself and be careful in stirring times.

Finally, the month ends with an energy allowing sharp visions and to carry them out.

Astrology and astronomy in daily practice.

This month the planet Mars will rise in the southern sky at sunset.

Venus has turned visible again as Evening Star. We possibly could see Venus after sunset in the Southwest.

Saturnus and Jupiter appear at the beginning of the evening in the southwest. A couple of hours later they set again.

In the evening of February 23^rd, the Moon will be close to Jupiter, and on February 28^th the Moon will be close to Mars.

On December 29^th I saw the conjunction of Jupiter and the Moon. Underneath picture shows it.

Between December 30th and January 12^th both Mars and Mercury were retrograde.

It was supposed to be a period with good vibes for a retreat. I used the opportunity for a short holiday.

Ans of course we have seen some disturbances in communication and equipment, as e.g., a light in the bathroom going out of order. We had been warned before, so we only had to overcome some temporary difficulties.

I have been busy in this period with reading books and gathering new knowledge about esoteric astrology.

On January 13th the energy changed completely. A lot of what had been announced in the period with Mars retrograde, opened up. Great to become aware that our universe is always helpful and gives you new information and inspiration.

Gabriël, Messenger of the light

Eleonore had the intention to contribute to every newsletter. The last months she didn’t manage on behalf of several medical treatments in hospital. I had agreed with her to place an older article if her contribution couldn’t be prepared because of this.

This time therefore I had chosen the article about Gabriel.

When I made contact to propose this, I received the following reaction.

Special Jan, and very suitable to use this article. From a beloved friend I received a postal card with a picture of Gabriel. To my pleasure I have “seen” Gabriel several times.

At the moment I am (as a therapy) painting an icon of Gabriel, an inspiring exercise helping me to improve the contact with the Angel.

Gabriel also means “God will heal”. Nice to see how Neptune in Pisces also works.

Recently I went through the accompanying book of the “Angel Oracle” by Ambika Wauters and was struck by the picture of the Archangel Gabriel. Wasn’t he the angel of the joyful message to Maria?

The picture is about a more or less sexless figure with a lily in his hand.

From the Middle Ages the lily is an attribute of the Archangel. As a symbol of purity, the flower is associated with the Moon, falling under the governance of Gabriel.

Gabriel, the Archangel is a messenger of God at all important events being somehow related to birth or release.

His name means “man of God” or “God shows his power”.

He is one of the 7 angels in celestial hierarchy.

This hierarchy is also known in other religions as e.g., the Islam.

Gabriel gave the massage about the contents of the Koran to Mohammed. (Soera 26:192.194.)

The name “Holy Spirit” is considered by the Islam as a second name of the Archangel Gabriel.

It was the same angel announcing at Maria the birth of Jesus Christ and giving her “spirit” with Gods consent.

Angels are “in”. We nowadays know many sets of Angel cards, most of them are by Doreen Virtue.

When you really are looking for answers on important life questions, the Angel informs you about the direction you have to go. So, everything life has to offer you will be made clear with the Angel Ouija board. Also nice to use them at family meetings or at special events with spiritual friends.

Back to Gabriel in his function as a messenger of God. To Daniel he explained a vision, to Zachary and Elisabeth he proclaimed the birth of a sun and mentioned his name (Luke 1: 8-20).

On Medieval pictures the golden color of his dress illustrates why he is called Gods messenger of the Light. All religions know Gabriel as the mightiest messenger of the Source. He is able to help us to utter the truth open and honest, respect and honor our individuality and listen to our intuition and inner voice. Gabriel is also considered to be the protector of children, protecting the Inner child in each of us.

This original pure and celestial child has a special relationship to God or the Source.

By certain as a trauma experiences events this child can become wounded or feeling abandoned in its growth to maturity. As a Guardian Angel Gabriel helps us to defend against negative powers.

For these situation Doreen Virtue’s Angel therapy might be helpful. To a certain degree it can be considered as a non-confessional and spiritual healing method, including the working with Arch Angels and helping us to find harmony in every aspect of our lives.

When we open-up for the messages of the angels our lives will become more peaceful.

Regarding the children, they can also participate in the Angel-hype. Diana Cooper designed beautiful cards with pictures of Angels being an inspiration for both parents and children.

Angels are often known in the life of a child. Their lively fantasy isn’t disturbed yet by the many influences from the intellectual world of the adult.

The cards could stimulate the tendency in young children to have contact with their angels.

Possibly both parents and children could experience these creatures filled with love could become friends for the whole life.

The flood storm in the Netherlands of February 1st, 1953

In these days, in the Netherlands we rethink to the disaster that took place 70 years ago, the southwestern coast of the Netherlands was struck by a flood storm.

This disaster took almost 2000 lives.

I experienced it myself; I lived in the area on a houseboat, on the edge of the flooded land.

I still remember the warning by the broadcasting news the night before. It was very terrifying. When I woke up the next day, the water was everywhere and streams of trudging people passed our boat, waking away from danger, nobody knew where to go.

This movie always stayed with me and now shortly before the commemoration I started looking for astrological indications. And indeed, they were there.

Firstly, there was an eclipse period. We had a lunar eclipse on January 29^th followed by a solar eclipse on February 14^th, 1953.

As soon as Sun and Moon and Earth are in line with each other it brings additional energy.

This energy takes care the floods are much higher than usually. Moreover, we had to deal with a storm with hurricane power from the Northwest.

The solar eclipse took place in the 8^th house of the NL birth chart (the house of transformation).

When, on February 1^st the dikes broke, the Sun had just entered the 8^th house of the Netherlands. In addition, we had difficult aspects from Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto to the AC (sign rising) and MC (Midheaven a.o. destination) of NL.

This eclipse was one out of the eclipse family Saros 9 New-North, known for her quality to make victims.

Some people in NL had been warning about the bad condition of our dikes already for many years. A very concerned engineer of Public Water Affairs (Johan van Veen) had uttered many warnings. Peculiar is that he also did this using a nickname Cassandra. He had developed a complete plan to protect NL against floods, but nobody had taken the initiative. However, shortly after the disaster the plan was taken into execution.

In mythology Cassandra is known as the Goddess embarrassing man. For her promise to sleep with him, she had received from Apollo the gift to predict the future.

When she refused to realize this promise, Apollo, not able to withdraw the gift, cursed her and told that nobody would believe her. So, nobody was prepared to listen to her predictions. As an example of her power, she foresaid the Trojan horse and advises not to let the horse enter Troye, but nobody believed her.

Epilogue

In 1953 the disaster took place in the South-Western part of NL. Another vulnerable part of the country had already been protected by a big dike closing a dangerous entrance of the sea (the Southern Sea) in 1928. Immediately after the disaster our “Delta works” have been started. The first project (to protect the heart of NL between Rotterdam and Amsterdam) was the creation of a moveable construction in the “Ijssel River”. In these days II lived very close to it, as my father participated in these works.

NL has changed in outlook (AC) especially Zealand and in knowledge position (MC) in the world.

The first solutions were rather rigid, assuming circumstances would never change, and safety had been guaranteed for centuries.

Nowadays we know better (at least part of us), and in our future plans for protection we try to cooperate with natural ways of defense.

However, to solve this a greater awareness is needed about our dependency of our own behavior in relation to the changes taking place. With Pluto entering Aquarius we may expect some further growing insight

Light and consciousness

In the preceding newsletter I shared some new insights about the subject Esoteric Astrology, also named “Soul-centered astrology”.

We humans are creatures of light, bot everybody seems to be aware of this. We never stop creating our own personal reality. How we create and why is a complicated matter.

Once, Krishnamurti wrote a booklet about it: “the light inside”. His special manner to unravel this enigma and communicate about it.

Esoteric astrology deals with soul centered astrology. It is a different and more aware way of looking to the development of consciousness of people in a complicated cosmic environment (the light touching us).

Mankind dis-covers every time somewhat additional about it and we tend to think that after the next dis-covery we will have a complete (other) insight.

When you study the work of Blavatsky and Baily you might know better.

Cosmic law gradually deploys and gives insight in the secrecies. We could assume this takes places in balance with the awakening of our knowledge about our cosmic environment.

We couldn’t expect a higher speed of discovery than our knowledge and flexibility of views develops.

For many of us, it is clear there is more between heaven and earth, for others this is something to be proved. They preferably stick to a material truth, neglecting to consider the insights of historical developments. Every time again new discoveries only appeared from the understanding the old ones were based on incomplete insights.

In her Secret Doctrine, Blavatsky gives us many points to consider.

She puts:

“The complete order of nature (here meant as the Cosmos) shows developments to a higher degree of life. This seems to be influenced by the most blind power, guided by a cosmic plan.

The evolutionary process we recognize from nature (and Darwin) with all its adaptations to the better proves this. It gives us a reason to assume a certain kind of refined cosmic intelligence, taking care of this.

According to Esoteric Astrology from Alice Baily, mankind is a.o. under the influence of the following sources:

• The stars from the system Ursa Mayor
• The stars from the Seven sisters (Pleaides)
• Sirius (the Dog star)
• The seven solar systems of which our Sun is one
• The 12 planets (including Sun, Moon and Vulcanus) in our solar system
• The 7 planet centers
• The 7 power centers in the human etheric body (the chakra’s)
• The 12 star-systems in our zodiac (from Aries to Pisces)
• The rays from the Earth itself

A vast source of energy, influencing us in a not yet fully revealed way.

How and why remains a big question.

The Seven Sacred Cosmic Rays are a representation of part oof these sources.

We live in a fascinating time, where gradually more cosmic sources are discovered, and insight grows about the influence on out earthly lives.

We still only know these sources partly.

These energies are in full control over people with a poor developed consciousness.

Only when mankind is better aware of the importance of consciousness and we together work on it from a view of cosmic love we can have influence on what is taking place,

However, the first step to find the path is to make these steps in the awareness of the need for a growing consciousness.

Neptune in Pisces

A first edition of this article was published in spring 2011 (when Neptune entered Pisces) and placed in a somewhat broader article on the website www.omegahighlighter.com

Since 2011 other pictures of Neptune have been become available being of influence on our thoughts about its role. Since 2011 our Sun has gone through Pisces (at least most of us think so on earth). In reality the Sun is in the center of our solar system, by the movement of the earth in her solar orbit we get the impression the Sun is moving.

On February 18^th, 2023, at 23.34 Sun will “enter” Pisces for the 12^th time since 2011.

Introduction

Not every individual living on earth will experience a period where the planet Neptune is in Pisces.

The most important reason for this is the time Neptune needs for a full orbit around the Sun (approx. 165 years).

Neptune was assumed for the first time by Galilei in the years 1611-1612, however the real discovery had to wait until September 23^rd ,1846. Neptune was positioned in Aquarius on the 16^th degree that day.

Neptune is the 8th planet of our solar system. Its diameter is 4 times bigger as the earth’s diameter and its weight is 50 times heavier.

It took until February 7^th, 2010, before the degree of discovery had been reached again.

At the time of discovery Saturn was on the same degree as Neptune.

Since the discovery Neptune has made a full orbit around the sun.

On April 4^th, 2011, Neptune entered Pisces and will stay there until March 30^th 2025.

Energy of Neptune

Neptune is known for the property to make issues unlimited. Visions and dreams about a perfect society are part of it. It represents the longing to be perfect; however, it can always lead to disillusions.

Neptune is also known for her ability to make pictural innovations as e.g., in movies, photography, mode, and glamour.

Neptune is also example for self-image and the overall image of a group or a country, and Neptune rules scandals. Neptune transits can cause as well idealistic and negative effects.

Meaning

The influence of a transit of Neptune through a sign is not always easy to explain and especially also not the transit through its home sign Pisces.

The only period in the past we could experience the transit of Neptune in awareness were the years 1847-1862. They showed some important social improvements and e.g., the founding of the Red Cross.

Besides it isn’t easy to analyze the influence of a Neptune transit as it does work on the background and peaceful and do not show eye-catching events.

Where a Pluto transit causes fundamental changes with changes of power, and Uranus causes unexpected events from the pressure cooker, Neptune has influence on ideals and causes unclarity.

Moreover, also mutual aspects between Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are of great interest as they will cause the events where the real ideals can come out of sight.

Where Uranus discovers and makes aware, Neptune adds the divine ideal and Pluto will take for in depth purification in optima forma.

According to Rudhyar in his book: “the Sun is also a star”, Neptune is supposed to be the universal solvent. It takes care for the preparation of the transformation in terms of the ancient art of alchemy.

Ancient alchemists searched for “gold” in different meanings.

The looking for gold covered the search to understand the real source of all and of human existence.

Although not very striking and in line with the real character of Neptune, this process takes place secretly in the inner world.

Also, the given that Neptune is in her home sign confirms this inner work.

Outcomes can be dual. On one side it could lead to the dissolvement of past and obsolete structures and to the creation of ideals, in many cases considered to be from another world.

It should lead to the understanding of new opportunities by seeing with “other” eyes.

In addition, we should make difference, when considering the outcomes, between the influence on the period when Neptune makes a transit in Pisces and the influence caused by people having Neptune in their birth chart.

We can see the outcomes in the first category by now. For the outcomes in the second category we will have to wait until 2040 when people born in 2011 will have their first Saturn return.

And then we see the entrance of Pluto in Pisces, the big purifier.

What can be expected from the passage of Neptune through Pisces?

Before Neptune entered Pisces we experienced another rather unique situation, the mutual reception between Uranus (in Pisces) and Neptune (in Aquarius).

A mutual reception makes the energies work as if the planets involved are in the own sign.

Especially people born between 2004 and 2022 have this reception in their birth chart.

We could establish some hope for the future on this.

This generation will have special skills related to imagination and creativeness. So, we can expect many breakthroughs by this generation.

We can also expect improvements in societal systems where inequality will be sorted out.

As, at the same time Pluto runs in Capricorn we can expect big purifying changes in societal systems.

These changes can also lead to power struggles with people and structures in power.

Also, in the health care we can expect spectacular breakthroughs and new findings.

They will replace ancient insights and obsolete treatments.

There will be more focus on the care given, and with an eye on the patients well being and quality of care and live will become central issues.

The boundaries of health care will become vaguer and will grow to a big network of very specialized professional clinics and the primary care around the home of the patient.

The patient will have to play an important role in the whole process, especially thanks to innovative new technology.

Finally, we will have a discussion around the organisation of healthcare and the area of prisons, from the view of societal justice. The surrounding where criminals will have to live their detention may become more related to the severeness of their delict.

With respect to faith there will be a revival of the belief in God, with respect that we will more experience our faith on an individual basis, however understanding the presence of God.

A final development to be expected will be related to the way we communicate.

Our written language turns out to become less and less helpful, also related to how we communicate modern technology.

We will use more symbolic ways of communication using pictural methods.

We already know languages with a more pictural outlook as for instance Chinese, Mayan symbols, etc.

Preface

This year the Sun entered Capricorn on December 22^nd.

In our Christian based society, we are used to relate this to the birth of Jesus Christ. Before his birth over 2000 years ago, this was not the same. By then the 25^th of December was the Winter Solstice on the Roman calendar, the shortest day, the point where light starts to increase until its maximum six months later. Afterwards, this day was chosen by Christianity as the date when Jesus Christ was born. This should be considered symbolical.

It represents the start of the process of birth, growing up and return to the source. It is a symbol of our soul’s journey into and out of matter. Every time an individual is born, a new little light is born on Earth, and that light can grow, illuminate the world, and rejoin the Universal Source in all Consciousness and dignity. The planets in its natural order represent the different stages of this journey which correspond to the 7 chakras or layers of life experience. The little light of Christmas reminds us of our essence and of our spiritual journey, and the astrological code sheds light into it. 

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a new year filled with conscious and inspiring moments.

Contemplation

Winter: the season of silence is born. Even a crowded street in the city’s rests in winterly silence.

It looks as if nature comes to a stop. Plants disappear beneath the earth surface and animals withdraw in their holes.

We also prefer to stay inside in our warm “castles”. We close our curtains early and light the candles to sit together in a warm and peaceful atmosphere. Especially in the dark days before Christmas there is a need to see lights all around us.

Utterly nature dies, but in our inner a new and powerful initiative grows.

And like the wiseman from the East we see the “Star” as a token of the new light within us. In this time of thinking and willing we suppress our feelings. And, while especially our feelings remind us to the message of Jesus Christ, the sitting together under the lights of Christmas helps us to become aware. Aware of other people all over the world, being suppressed, trying to survive in armed conflicts, trying to survive on the fly. Sometimes even living next door and close to us.

Also, these people need our common attention and action for a save live and the possibility to withdraw in this peaceful message of the newborn Christ: peace on Earth and Mercy to all mankind.

In Poland the evening of December 24^th and called “Wigilia” is very special.

Traditionally the evening starts when the first star appears. About sunset small groups of people are staring at the sky and suddenly when they all together see appearing a certain star, they all shout.

Is it supposed to be the Bethlehem star?

As a child I used to stare the skies looking for that one and only purple-red star being my symbol for the light from above. As if a special guiding angel looked smiling down to me, and with whom I could share my little griefs and insecurities.

In childly innocence I then started to sing my star song I learned at school:

Stars shine, first one by one

Then thousands appear not to be counted by someone.

In the period between December 25^th and January 6^th where we await the return of the light, the time of sunrise is approximately the same.

Our ancestors withheld their breath and stopped the clocks and also the spinning wheel was idle.

But when, on January 6th the Sun appeared a minute earlier, people went around carrying a tossing star, to bring the message of the return of the sun in her new cycle, singing the following:

The star, the star, will turn

We can proceed, the sunlight will burn

Preview for the month January

At the beginning January 2023 will have a signature of retrograde motion. I.e., at the beginning of the month both Mars and Mercury are retrograde, setting the energy for this month. It might be a good opportunity to start realizing plans for improvement by deepening them and relate them to the upcoming societal challenges. It might become your contribution to the world in 2023.

The influence of mutual strengthening retrograde energies goes on until the middle of February. Be also prepared on electronic equipment to be secured against cyber-attacks.

Also consider all possible forms of miscommunication.

The beginning of 2023 also is a good moment to check your relations thoroughly and on added value in your life. Most important question to answer. Do they have enough content to put energy in it for the future? The communication about this should primarily be based on feelings. During this period and thanks to the retrograde Mercury words may be understood in a not meant manner.

It is in all cases a period that all types of communication can have unexpected results. Be aware of this.

About January 5th there will be nice possibilities for further personal development and improvement of relationships.

By the Full Moon on January 7^th this might have a satisfying result.

Shortly before the Moment Mars will turn direct again on January 12^th it is possible to have thought ideas having value for follow-up in practice later on.

The days after the 12^th in general will feel fluently. Most issues will be realized as expected, nevertheless attention should be paid to achieve the desired results.

On January 20^th there will be a total change of atmosphere.

With the Sun entering Aquarius, our energies will become more directed on friendship and equality, however sometimes also a bit more rebellious.

The New Moon on January 21^st on Aquarius 2^nd degree is symbolized by: “An unexpected thunderstorm”.

It is a call to strengthen your inner security in order to be prepared to unexpected happenings.

On January 22^nd also Uranus will turn direct again. This might give an additional boost to creativeness or rebellious feelings.

It requires character and insight in social challenging situations.

The card Strength form the Rider Waite tarot reminds me to this challenge.

In general, the atmosphere will remain friendly.

At the end of the month, we will meet some positive and helpful energies.

This gives chances to realize your plans. Use this in your advance as long as possible.
