Yogananda had the following idea about the law of Carma:

“Fate, karma, destination, call it as you like it, there is a Law of Justice, arranging in some way, but not accidentally our race, physical form and some aspects of our thoughts and feelings.

It is important to realize that we can’t escape from this basic pattern, but will be allowed to cooperate within this frame”.

And further:

“the more progression we see in the self-realization of mankind, the more mankind will influence the flow of the universe with its subtle vibrations and the less mankind will be a toy in the flow of events emanating from all this.

The law of clear intention is an important cosmic law related to this.

I believe most of the readers will know this law or have met its impact.

It appears very simple: When you perform things and duties for the best, you almost have fulfilled the objective. However, it might be more complicated as presumed in a quick look.

Does it go beyond the direct reality we observe?

We live in a big illusion. What this means can’t be easily understood by anybody.

This illusion is much bigger than we can see or have an idea about and why we descended to this incarnation.

This clear intention goes beyond the illusion, and to become more aware about this, is part of a conscious life.

Slowly and step by step discovering the path to walk, and getting a real view on the truth behind this illusion. When you consciously look for the path and walks it, your idea of the why of this life will change.

At that moment you will become aware that everything you did before in clear intention, you possibly might refuse to do later on. By being more consciously aware, also the way you look at your own contribution to the world will change.

This is the path to go, walk it in full consciousness and discover.

Understand that more insight will obligate you to use other measures for your own thoughts and acts.

With a number of planets reorienting the coming month on the manner they plan to influence us energetically; it might be a good time to think over your own issues.

Preview for the month August

The month of August hides a number of important astronomical events.

We have 2 Full Moons this month, Venus is still retrograde and also Mercury will turn retrograde on August 23^rd, this means we have 2 personal planets being retrograde and internally oriented.

The first Full Moon on August 1^st brings a warm and comfortable energy. We have possibilities for further development and personal growth.

On August 2^nd we can feel restricted by authorities in our lives.

About August 3rd we can have meaningful encounters.

About August 7^th there are possibilities, it is important not to exaggerate.

About August 9th we can meet financial good luck.

There may also be inspiration for special creative insights. The practical outcome however may some time to mature.

Om August 10^th we will have excellent possibilities for further developments and to get new insights.

On August 13^th there is an inner conjunction from Venus and the Sun. Sun, Venus and Earth are aligned at that moment. One of the points of the Venus pentagram will become actual.

This pentagram symbolizes the connection of elements (fire, earth, air and water) and their mutual influence on spirit (ether). See also the picture underneath.

A meditation can help you to connect to the cosmic message.

This inner conjunction takes places on the 21^st degree of Leo, the degree of unsatisfactory spiritual experience when the ego is too dominant in this process.

So, the message is to turn inside and not to exaggerate.

This could result in a healing experience.

The New Moon on August 16^th takes place close to the position of Venus and at the degree of full concentration. While Venus is still retrograde it can be a good possibility to try ot become part of the energy and to open up for messages from above. There will be good opportunities to put into practice pure inspiration.

Try to keep in touch with what can be supposed to be achieved. Ideals can become borderless and less fit to achieve.

On August 23^rd we are under the influence of Mercury. On one side the Sun enters Virgo, governed by Mercury at the other side Mercury turns retrograde.

Servitude is becoming more important. In addition, messages we have been waiting for since long can reach us.

The degree of obliged nobility can give these messages an important and striking message. Noblesse obliges.

Be aware that a retrograde Venus and Mercury can be of no help to bring insights in practices. This might be related to difficult communication.

About August 25th the energy is helpful to realize plans.

From August 27^th we will take our partners interest better into account.

Against the end of the month, we can have surprising and very innovative insights.

The moth ends with an energy of completion as we experience the 2^nd Full Moon in a month.

This takes places on the degree of regeneration. A different notion of reality can give surprising insights.

Astrology and astronomy in daily practice.

In August Venus will not be visible. Begin September Venus will return as a Morning star, especially for those who are early risers.

Mars will be in the Southwest at sunset. On August 16^th Mars will be close to the Moon.

Saturn and Jupiter will be visible from midnight until sunrise (in the south).

On the 10^th of July the Netherlands experienced a remarkable day.

Our prime-minister Mark Rutte, withdrew and announced to leave our nations politic.

This change already had its pre-warning in the month March, when the outcome of district elections left the Netherlands in a rather unmanageable state, leaving the country with many urgent problems to be solved.

In the horoscope of the Netherlands, we see an actual transit from Pluto (transformation) on the Moon (countries inhabitants).

This energy indicates a transformation of power, to be expected to take place rather in harmony and based on the cosmic principle of purification.

Pluto can indicate related conflicts of power.

Groups resisting against “needed” changes, will be forced to accept these changes. And be aware that what is “needed” will not be a directive from humanity, but for humanity.

At the moment we see many planets active in NL’s 10^th house (Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune).

Moreover, on July 10^th the northern lunar node and the Moon where in this 10^th house of destination.

It indicates there is a broad support for societal change and innovation. There will be chances for innovation guiding the way to a future based on a new society.

On November 22^nd we have new elections.

The Moon is again in the 10^th house of NL. The people will deal with the future of the country.

With Neptune actual (ideals) on the Sun of NL and Mercury (rational power) on NL’s Neptune ideals will play a guiding role.

Saturn actual (structure and regulations) will play an important role in establishing the new future.

Uranus actual gives indications for innovations being implemented in a rather harmonic manner.

On July 23rd Venus turned retrograde. I could feel it and by accident I saw a contribution from the philosophic quintet about the future of mankind related to the way we value economic interests above all others. A retrograde Venus revaluates this. Very impressive.

Cheiron

Recently I was attended to Chiron from different sides.

This took place on July 6^th. Cheiron made a square (90 degrees aspect) with Mercury (the cosmic messenger).

Special was that at one of the people incurred, Chiron made a transit on the AC, at the same time having Chiron on the IC of the birth chart.

In my personal birth chart Mercury made a trine with natal Mercury.

For me a message to pay attention to Cheiron and to write a contribution for the newsletter.

Chiron has been discovered by Charles Kowal. Chiron has an orbit between the planets Saturn and Uranus and has a cycle time of about 50,4 years around the sun.

In 1996 Chiron reached the point on his orbit closest to the sun.

Chiron was in the sign Libra.

About 2021 Chiron was at his apogee (in Aries).

Caused by the rather eccentric orbit the transit time of Chiron through the signs is rather varying from 2.5 years in Libra to 7 years in Aries.

In 2027 Chiron returns son the first degree of discovery (Taurus 4^th degree).

The place of Chiron in the birth chart gives indications for the wound the incarnated soul has caught in earlier lives.

Sasportas en Hall indicate that Chiron got his first wound by the denial by his mother and relates this to the separation when leaving the womb.

In this new live Chiron was confronted to his heroes. And especially one of these heroes Hercules was the one who caused his wound.

When working with karma, Chiron shows the wound of the soul and should be released from this pain. To release isn’t the whole solution, the soul has to make a conscious choice.

It should voluntarily release her grip on the world of the form and when necessary, choose to go through the dead of the old self, to allow something bigger to originate from it.

My other source drew my attention on Chiron and turned out to have Chiron on the same degree of the birth chart (Libra 2^nd degree).

The symbol of this degree:

“The transmutation of the fruits of past experiences into the seed realisation of the forever creative spirit”.

It recalls for us the picture that we are consciously using ancient truths to be helpful to use the wound to develop new insights as a contribution to the own process of healing.

The Owl

In preceding newsletters, I paid attention to the owl and its symbolic, especially because Eleonore (co-writer for some articles), received interesting messages related to this bird.

Beneath a picture of the card “the Owl” from the collection Medicine cards by Jamie Sams and David Carson. The cards represent animals as a symbol of healing power.

As Eleonore’s contribution to this newsletter couldn’t be delivered in time to be part of this issue< I got the idea to pay attention to the symbolic of the Owl in this issue.

Athena, the Greek Goddess of wisdom, always was accompanied by an owl, sitting on her shoulder.

Without being noticed, the owl revealed truth to her.

Owl had the power to give Athena’s blind eye power of vision, to allow her to speak the truth and not only half of it.

Saturn and Neptune

Saturn is already known by mankind since ancient times.

As the planet still visible with the bare eye and distant from earth, he had an important function.

Saturn imposed to us the understanding of limitation and of the need for structure.

Passing Saturn meant the end of the known world. Behind it was uncertainty, the basis for our belief systems. At the border we saw a divine authority, and this was supposed outside of mankind.

Since the end of the 18^th century this idea changed step by step in discovering the trans-Saturnale planets.

In 1789 first Uranus had been discovered.

Known borders were broken and new types of freedom came through.

In society we saw monarchs allowing their people more rights and freedom.

Monarchs not allowing this caused revolutions as we have seen in France.

The first free country for former slaves was established (Haiti) and the United States started a freedom was against their founding countries.

In 1846 on September 23^rd the planet Neptune had bene discovered.

Neptune was in Aquarius the same sign where Saturn was at that moment.

When 2 planets are together in the skies (we call this a conjunction) their energies try to cooperate. It also indicates the beginning of a new cycle. A cycle of Saturn and Neptune takes approx. 35 years.

By then Saturn made a complete tour through the ecliptic and Neptune has only passed 2 or 3 signs.

Such a cycle begins on a dedicated degree, containing a message for the complete cycle.

Saturn and Neptune are rather contradicted in their nature.

Saturn gives limitations and structures, Neptune in the contrary makes unbounded and makes a connection to the unknown possible.

In 1846 the conjunction had a message about a harmonic combination of making plans and realizing these. Both about, ideals, practical work, and social goals as well.

At the same time Neptune in Aquarius reminds us to noble goals and spiritual flexibility.

The combination proposed good perspectives and indeed they appeared as a result.

The Crim war ended in a peace treaty and the foundation of the rights for civilians and soldiers in periods of war were agreed. Also, the base principles for the Red Cross were founded.

At the moment we see both Neptune and Saturn in the sign Pisces (Neptune in the last decade, Saturn in the first decade). On February 20^th, 2026, we can expect the next conjunction. This will take place on the first degree od Aries 9also the first degree of our ecliptic.

It will take some years to arrive at this point, however it pr poses a nice symbolic to be prepared for.

The astrological mandala indicates the appearance of new forms of consciousness.

In this process both future and restrictive energies take part.

This comes to the foreground by Saturn energy (limitation and sense of reality, restricted views) and by Neptune energy (ideals and dreams). Unfortunately, we still have a mindset where dreams should be proven on forehand).

However, we should be aware that we need both energies in good interaction to design the future.
